Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu participated in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Saray-Kırklareli Road. Stating that they are producing new projects that will meet the increasing needs of Kırklareli, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that they will continue to undertake great projects especially in Kırklareli, where the agriculture-based industry is developing rapidly. Emphasizing that they have invested approximately 2 billion 337 million liras in Kırklareli's transportation and communication infrastructure so far, and stating that they will be proud of achieving the goals set for the 100th anniversary of the Republic, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Our transportation and infrastructure projects are making a sound all over the world. There is no power in this path that we set out with the love of service that can keep us from our way. ” he spoke.

The target is to give one of the biggest supports to our country, which is on the way to become an unshakable economic power in the world.

Stating that it was a pleasure to meet on the occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony on the last day of the Eid al-Adha, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “I congratulate all our citizens' blessed Eid al-Adha and greet you all with respect and love. As the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we deliver services to every point of our country in line with our 2023 development goals, and we carry out reforms in the field of transportation and infrastructure. Our goal is to connect every corner of our country with the world and contribute to its development. Thus, to give one of the biggest supports to our country, which is on the way to become an unshakable economic power in the world and in our region. Our Kırklareli, like every corner of our beautiful homeland, is moving towards this great goal, growing, getting richer. Our greatest wish is to accomplish many more jobs with your support and charitable prayers and to leave a wider, richer, stronger country to our children in the future. “We continue to produce new projects for the increasing needs of Kırklareli while growing”

Stating that Kırklareli's needs increased while growing and they were aware of them as the Ministry, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that they produced new projects for Kırklareli depending on the growth rate and increasing traffic density.

Noting that Kırklareli, the hidden paradise of Thrace, with its ancient history, cultural texture and unique natural beauties, is a center where agriculture-based industry is rapidly developing, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Today we came to our Kırklareli with two festive gospels. At the moment, we will lay the foundation of the Saray-Kırklareli Road and then open the 11 kilometers of Edirne-Kırklareli Road as a divided road. ”

 Saray-Kırklareli Road is targeted to be completed in the first quarter of 2022

Minister Karaismailoğlu continued as follows: “The total length of Saray-Kırklareli Road, which we will base on, connects Kırklareli to Tekirdağ, another agricultural and industrial city, via the Palace, is 71,1 km. With the 11-kilometer Kırklareli City Pass superstructure improvement, the 27,5 km section including Çakilli, Vize and Pınarhisar Ring Roads will be completed in a split road, while the remaining 43,6 km section will be completed in a single road standard. We plan to complete the 185-kilometer Pınarhisar Ring Road with 4 7,5 meters long bridges in 2021. We aim to complete the entire project in the first quarter of 2022.

Thus, a safer and more comfortable transportation will be allocated on this line, and the transportation time will decrease from 78 minutes to 45 minutes. Heavy vehicle traffic will relax between Saray, Vize and Pınarhisar districts. Saray-Kırklareli Yolu; It will also provide transportation from the northwest of Kırklareli to Istanbul Airport.

With the completion of the project, a total of 78 million TL will be saved annually, including 20 million TL annually from time and 98 million TL from fuel consumption. We will see the contribution of our new road in environmental terms, while reducing 8 tons of carbon emission. ”

He also gave the following information regarding the investments made with the Minister Karaismailoğlu: '' Our Kırklareli is very precious for us like every corner of the country. In the last 18 years, we have realized great projects that will change the fate of our Kırklareli. Looking back, we invested approximately 2 billion 337 million liras in Kırklareli's transportation and communication infrastructure. Kırklareli; We connect to Edirne, Tekirdağ and İstanbul in a divided way. In 2003, we increased the length of the divided road from 77 kilometers to 224 kilometers. We also made very important investments for Kırklareli's railway infrastructure. HalkalıBorder Line, Halkalı-Çerkezköy-60 kilometers between the roads, Istanbul- Demirköprü, Pehlivanköy- Kapıkule Line Pehlivanköy- Border, Demirköprü- Seyitler- Çerkezköy We have renewed the railway between 218 Kilometers and 140 kilometers between Velimeşe and Borders. ”

Kirklareli, Halkalı-Kapıkule High Speed ​​Train Project will be an important center on the Silk Railway route.

In his speech, the length of 62 kilometers, 229 kilometers of which passes through Kırklareli, is HalkalıEmphasizing that they will make Kırklareli one of the important centers of the Silk Railway route with the Kapikule High Speed ​​Train Project, Karaismailoğlu said, “Within the scope of this project, we will establish Babaeski, Lüleburgaz and Büyükkarışleyen stations in Kırklareli. With the completion of the project; existing line capacity will increase 4 times. Halkalı-Passenger travel time between Kapikule (Edirne) from 4 hours to 1 hour 20 minutes; load bearing time will decrease from 6 hours 30 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes. '' he said.

Transport and infrastructure moves make a sound worldwide

Underlining that they did not forget the access infrastructure when opening the roads of Kırklareli, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that the length of the fiber-fiber cable infrastructure, which was 2003 kilometers in 750, increased to 3 kilometers. Emphasizing that their transportation and infrastructure moves are making a worldwide impact, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “This strong transportation and infrastructure move has two very important goals. First, to make our country one of the most important logistics corridors of world trade in the north-south and east-west line. This international position will reflect on the lives of us and future generations as a great economic wealth. Secondly, the roads, bridges, railways and airports are engineering projects as well as socio-economic projects. Every point in our country where we can take safe and world-class roads is the eye of investors, employment opportunities are created for our citizens and tourism revenues increase. Each new transportation and infrastructure project offers visible contributions to the quality of life of our youth in the region where it is located.
