Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç continues his effective moves towards transportation. Mayor Büyükkılıç gave instructions for the expansion and improvement of the road between Hisarcık and Hacılar, two important settlements on the outskirts of Erciyes.
Mayor Büyükkılıç made examinations on the road between Hisarcık and Hacılar and received information from the relevant department heads.
Pointing to the importance of the road between Hisarcık and Hacılar and drawing attention to the importance of this road for Erciyes as well as the people of the region, Mayor Büyükkılıç gave an order to start improvement and expansion works at a distance of 4 thousand 600 meters.
Stating that the road is a civilization both between the towns and the districts, Büyükkılıç said, “We continue our efforts to transform our city into a road network and bring them together. We are raising the standards of our roads, renewing their asphalt, and trying to make them worthy of our city. 15-20 years ago, we saw that the roads that responded to the needs no longer meet the needs, of course we need to consider the density in Erciyes. It is important to us. We have instructed our main artery between Hisarcık and Hacılar to expand the distance of 20 meters in total and the road width of 15 m in some places and 4600 m in some places. I hope the main artery, which suits our Kayseri, our Pilgrims and Hisarcık, will come to life from there to our Erciyes ”.
