DHMİ Announces July Airline Flight, Passenger and Freight Statistics

Republic of Turkey Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) announced the aircraft, passenger and cargo statistics of July 2020.

Within the scope of the COVID-19 Free Airport project, the physical conditions of the airports are arranged according to the social distance and disinfection processes continue without interruption. In July 2020;

The number of aircraft that land and take off at the airports; 61.002 in domestic lines and 19.166 in international lines. total aircraft traffic With the overpasses, it became 92.192.

This month, Turkey serving domestic airports in overall traffic of 4.608.184 passengers, international passenger traffic was 1.614.484. Thus, with the direct transit passengers in that month, total passenger traffic It was 6.224.921.

Airports load (cargo, mail and baggage) traffic; In July, it reached a total of 50.719 tons, including 145.902 tons on domestic lines and 196.621 tons on international lines.

13.272 AIRCRAFT AND 1.400.015 PASSENGERS WERE SERVED FROM ISTANBUL AIRPORT IN JULY

At Istanbul Airport The traffic of aircraft landing and taking off in July was 7.104 in total, 6.168 on domestic lines and 13.272 on international flights.

Passenger traffic was 805.184 for domestic flights and 594.831 for international flights.

According to the first seven months (January-July) realizations;

Aircraft landing and taking off to airports became 286.778 on domestic flights and 144.271 on international flights. Thus, a total of 556.489 aircraft were serviced with overpasses.

In the first seven months of 2020, there were 19.745 aircraft traffic at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, where general aviation activities and cargo transportation continued.

Thus, a total of 129.540 aircraft traffic occurred in these two airports in the same period.
