Who is Müjde Ar?

Müjde Ar (born 21 June 1954), Turkish actress. In particular, she became an unforgettable actress of women's films that liberated the female identity in cinema and brought a different perspective to female sexuality with the films she starred in in the 1980s; It enabled the change of the representation of women in Turkish cinema.

She was born as the first child of songwriter and theater actress Aysel Gürel and journalist Vedat Ebrem (Akın), and she is the older sister of Mehtap Ar. He appeared on the stage at the Oraloğlu Theater at the age of eight. In the early 1970s, she worked as a theater and photonovel act, photo model and model. Directed by Halit Refiğ, the first television adaptation of Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil's famous novel, “Bihter” in the 1975 series Aşk-ı Memnu, became famous and went to the cinema.
