Halit Akçatepe (born 1 January 1938; Üsküdar, İstanbul – died 31 March 2017), Turkish actor. Born in Üsküdar, Istanbul on January 1, 1938, Akçatepe attends primary school at Refik Halit Karay School. His father is Sıtkı Akçatepe. When one of the film directors of the time said to his father, “We need a child actor”, his father played his son Halit, the tülüatçı Sıtkı Bey. He shot his first movie in 1943 when he was 5 years old. Later, he started taking lessons in primary school. He graduated from Saint Benoit French High School. He did his military service for 1959 years in Anıtkabir in 1,5. He gained fame with the movie Sweet Dillim in 1972. In 1963, he shot the films Forbidden, Gündoğrken, I looked at the sky and saw you. In 1975, he made his mark on Turkish cinema with the character of Güdık Necmi in the movie HababamClassı.

The actor's father, Sıtkı Akçatepe and his mother, Leman Akçatepe, are also actors who have appeared in many productions in Turkish cinema. His father, Sıtkı Akçatepe, worked with his son in the Hababam Class film series (teacher Pasha Nuri).

The actress, who married twice, made her first marriage with Tülin Akçatepe in 1963, and she had two daughters named Itır (1964) and Ebru (1968). Divorced from Tülin Hanım in 1981, the actress married Rezzan Akçatepe, who was 1999 years younger than her, in 39. From this marriage, their daughter Günsu was born in 2001. Halit Akçatepe and Rezzan Akçatepe were divorced in 2009.

Death

Halit Akçatepe died at the age of 31 in Istanbul on March 2017, 79. Akçatepe's doctor announced that the player, who received physiotherapy, died due to heart and respiratory failure. On April 2, 2017, he was buried in the Karacaahmet Cemetery after the commemoration event held at the Caddebostan Cultural Center and the funeral prayer in Şakirin Mosque.
