Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality will recruit 40 civil servants in accordance with the provisions of the Police Regulation and Fire Department Regulation.
In order to be employed within the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, subject to the Civil Servants Law No. 657; According to the provisions of the Municipal Police Regulations and the Municipal Fire Brigade Regulation, police officers and firefighters will be assigned to the vacant positions specified below, provided that they have the title, class, grade, number, qualifications, KPSS score type, KPSS base score and other conditions.
GENERAL AND SPECIAL TERMS OF APPLICATION
The general and special conditions that must be followed in the applications to be made for the vacant police officers and firefighters of Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality mentioned above are stated below.
1- APPLICATION GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Candidates who will apply to be appointed to the announced vacant police officer and fire brigade cadres must meet the following general conditions stated in the paragraph (A) of Article 657 of the Civil Servants Law No. 48.
-To be a Turkish citizen,
- Not to be deprived of public rights.
- Even if the periods specified in Article 53 of the Turkish Penal Code have passed; crimes against the security of the state, crimes against the constitutional order and the functioning of this order, embezzlement, extortion, bribery, theft, fraud, fraud, abuse of trust, fraudulent not to be convicted of the crimes of bankruptcy, rigging the tender, rigging the execution of the act, laundering the assets arising from the crime or smuggling.
- For male candidates in terms of military status; Not having any interest in military service or not having reached the age of military service, or having completed active or postponed military service or being transferred to the reserve class if he / she has reached the military age. Not having physical and mental illnesses that might prevent him from performing his duty continuously. To meet the other application requirements for the announced positions.
2- APPLICATION SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
For the announced titles, to meet the education requirement as of the school of graduation and to have the minimum KPSS score from the specified score type against the titles to be taken from the Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) in Associate degree 2018-KPSSP93 for this education. Not being expelled from public institutions and organizations where they worked before due to indiscipline or moral reasons.
In addition to the general conditions specified in paragraph (A) of Article 657 of Law No. 48, in accordance with the special conditions in Article 13 / A of the Municipal Police Regulation and Article 15 / A of the Municipality Fire Brigade Regulation, in order to apply to police officers and firefighters; weighing and measuring on an empty stomach, undressed and barefoot, at least 1.67 meters for males, at least 1.60 meters for females, and no difference of more than 1 kilograms (+, -) between the part with a height of more than 10 meter and weight and 30 be under age. Height and weight determinations will be made by our municipality.
Not being over the age of 30 on the date of the exam,
For those who will apply to the Firefighter staff, to comply with the working conditions of the fire department, provided that they do not have a phobia such as closed space, narrow space and height,
Having A, at least B or at least C class driving license specified in the qualification section of the table given by the provisions of the Highways Traffic Law dated 13/10/1983 and numbered 2918,
3- DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FROM CANDIDATES DURING APPLICATION:
During the application;

-The original of the identity card or ID card or a photocopy to be approved by our institution,
Original or notarized copy of the diploma or graduation certificate (copies can be certified by our municipality provided the original is submitted),
-Original or notarized copy of the Certificate of Equivalence for Foreign School Graduates (Copies can be certified by our municipality provided that the original is submitted),
- Computer printout of the KPSS result document with the verification code taken from the OSYM website,
-For male candidates, a written statement that they are not related to military service,
- A written statement that there is no obstacle to performing his duty continuously,
-Original or notarized copy of the driver's certificate (copies can be certified by our municipality provided the original is submitted),
- 3 passport photos taken in the last six months (1 of them will be pasted on the form)

4- APPLICATION LOCATION, DATE, METHOD AND DURATION:
Candidates, in order to take the oral and practical exam;

The height and weight measurements of the candidates will be made by our municipality between the application dates.
Applications will be made in person. Applications made by mail or other means will not be accepted.
Applications made with incomplete information and documents or without qualifications will not be evaluated.
5-EVALUATION OF THE APPLICATIONS, ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE APPLICATION ACCEPTED:
By checking the compatibility of the Turkish ID number and OSYM records, the candidates will be ranked according to their KPSS scores, starting with the candidate with the highest score, candidates will be invited to an oral and applied exam at a rate of five times the number of vacancies for each title.
Other candidates who have the same score as the last candidate to be invited to the exam will be invited to the exam.
Candidates who are eligible to take the exam and their KPSS scores and the exam place and time will be announced on the official website of our Municipality (www.sakarya.bel.tr) following the evaluation of the applications.
Candidates whose applications are accepted and invited for the exam will be sent an "Exam Entrance Document", issued by our Municipality and containing the identity information of the candidates and the place and date of the exam. This document will be presented at the entrance to the exam.
No notification will be made to candidates who cannot qualify for the exam.
Exam entry documents will be sent to the candidates who are eligible to take the exam to the address specified in the contact information section of the application form. The address specified in the application form will be accepted as the notification address, and incorrect address notifications are under the responsibility of the applicant.
Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality will not be held responsible for delays in the post due to incorrect address reporting or the failure of the mail to arrive.
6- LOCATION, TIME AND SUBJECTS OF THE EXAM:
An oral and practical exam will be held for the recruitment of Police Officers and Firefighters; Oral and practical exam for the recruitment of Municipal Police Officer On 03/11/2020 Tuesday, the oral and practical exam for the recruitment of Firefighter will start at 05:11 on Thursday 2020/09/00 at Mithatpaşa Mahallesi Zübeyde Hanım Caddesi No: 2 Adapazarı / SAKARYA. It will be held in the campus of Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department. If the oral and practical exam cannot be completed on the same day, it will be continued the next day.
Candidates who do not take the exam on the announced exam date and / or cannot attend due to an excuse will be deemed to have lost their right to take the exam.
Police Officer and Firefighter Exam; It will be done in two parts as oral and practical.
a) Oral exam;
Constitution of Turkey,
Ataturk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution,
Law No. 657 on Civil Servants,
It covers basic legislative issues related to Local Authorities.
b) Practical exam;
For the police officer staff, including the measurement of professional knowledge and ability related to the title of staff and the measurement of characteristics such as sportive endurance,
For firefighters, it is done in a way to include the measurement of professional knowledge and ability related to the title of the staff and the measurement of characteristics such as vehicle use and sportive endurance.
7- EVALUATION OF THE EXAM - OBJECT TO THE RESULTS:
Oral examination, Constitution of Turkey, Ataturk's Principles and History of Revolution, 657 Law, the Basic Law issues related to Local Government is made out of a total of 25 points, including 100 points and scores the exam board members of the passed separately report.
The applied exam is made over 100 full points and the scores given by the members of the exam board are recorded in a separate report.
Evaluation in the exam;
For the police officer staff, the exam score is calculated by taking 50% of the oral part and 50% of the applied part of the exam.
For firefighters, exam score is calculated by taking 40% of the oral part of the exam and 60% of the applied part of the exam.
In order to be considered successful in the exam, it is necessary to get at least 60 points.
The success score of the candidates for appointment is determined by taking the arithmetic average of the exam score made by the municipality and the KPSS score and announced on the municipality's website.
If the candidates have the same success points, the priority is given to the higher KPSS score.
Starting from the highest success score, the number of permanent candidates and reserve candidates will be determined as well as the number of permanent candidates. Main and reserve candidate lists will be announced on the website of the Municipality (www.sakarya.bel.tr) and written notification will be made to those who are on the list.
Exam Board; has the right to take some or none of the ones announced in the exam announcement if they find the achievement points low or not sufficient from the cadres announced for recruitment at the end of the exam.
During the applications and procedures, the examinations of those who are found to make false statements or hide the truth in any way are deemed invalid and their assignments are not made. Even if the appointments of such cases are determined, their assignments are canceled. These persons cannot claim any rights and will be filed a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor.
Exam results can be appealed in writing within seven days from the announcement of the success list on the website of the Municipality (www.sakarya.bel.tr). Objections are finalized by the examination committee within seven days and the relevant person is informed in writing.
