Izmir Metropolitan Municipality hanged the giant square matrix banner prepared with the slogan of “Istanbul Convention Should Stay in Force” facing the clock tower side of the main service building.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, upon the debates on the abolition of the Istanbul Convention, which protects women against violence, with the slogan "The Istanbul Convention for the right to life, equality and freedom of women should remain in force", the giant banner with a QR code (QR code) of 10 x 15 meters was placed on the Clock Tower side of the metropolitan main service building. The data matrix on the banner, which will also be placed on billboards in the city, directs it to a poster with the correct information against the misleading information about the Istanbul Convention.
The data matrix, which can be read directly by the phone camera, provides access to a list of 10 items of truths and mistakes on the Biz İzmir platform. The informative poster uploaded to the QR code application was also placed on Cyprus Martyrs Street in Alsancak as floor stickers to raise awareness. It is planned that the floor stickers will be spread throughout the city and the poster containing the correct information about the contract will be hung inside the buses.
