56 YEARS COMPANY
Established in 1964 by Sebahattin, İzzettin and Şerafettin Yörük in Ankara under the name Yörükler Limited Company, the company first started with olive production.
The business volume of the company, which started producing cheese in 1970, began to grow in 1975 with the purchase of an icehouse in Maltepe.
The factory of the company, which purchased a dairy in Susurluk in 1979, started its operations in Susurluk in 1984. Yörsan A.Ş was established on the same date.
After 1985, the first time the production of pasteurized milk and cheesemaking culture of the company that started in 1996 began to grow rapidly in Turkey with the franchise system.
While the foundations of a new factory were laid in Susurluk in 1999, this factory started service in 2002.
In 2013, 80 percent of Yörsan shares were sold to Dubaili Abraaj Capital.
In addition to the dairy production of Yörsan, Susurluk also has a large resting facility named after itself.
