Transportation Coordination Meeting from Mayor Büyükkılıç

Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Memduh Büyükkılıç continues its efforts to provide a quality and comfortable service in transportation as in all areas. In this context, Mayor Büyükkılıç, who organized a transportation coordination meeting, pointed out that transportation activities will be carried out both in the center and in the countryside, and pointed out that the ring system in transportation eases the traffic in the center.

Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Memduh Büyükkılıç held a transportation coordination meeting. In the meeting held with the participation of relevant bureaucrats, the services provided in the field of transportation were evaluated and investments were discussed.

CONTINUE TO PANDEMIC STRUGGLE IN TRANSPORTATION

Stating that they will review the services to be performed by the Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Inc. and the services to be performed thereafter, Mayor Büyükkılıç said:

“As you can remember, we need to do specific studies, since the number of passengers, which fell to about 50 thousand during the Pandemic period, started to increase above 200 thousand in the process that was described as normal. In line with the instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we laid down what we have to do regarding passenger capacity. We will talk about how we will work most efficiently in our city in accordance with our economy and our budget. ”

“RING SYSTEM COMFORTABLE TRAFFIC”

Expressing that they are anxious to serve efficiently for Kayseri, Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that they observed relief in the traffic in the center thanks to the ring system and this is an important issue that concerns the city in general.

“I would also like to touch on the ring system when evaluating transportation issues. We have important points to be reached directly. Like Erciyes University, like City Hospital. I think everyone is aware that going to these points with a small number of passengers is a big waste for our city and economy. In that respect, we apply transfer systems in different places. I would like to share that our fellow citizens should meet with understanding. I thank your usual goodwill. I want to remind you that we are efficiently concerned about how we do these services, and that we have no other intention. ”

Pointing out that the Covid-19 epidemic process is still continuing and the efforts will be carried out with this awareness, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “We would like to thank all the employees, crew, public bus drivers and owners of our transportation unit, which showed the least difficulty in our city, during their pandemic. Most importantly, we are grateful to our Kayseri citizens who always encourage us and try to benefit from these services with an understanding that embraces us. ”
