Deputy Özşavlı denied the information about the exclusion of Şanlıurfa in the High Speed Train project from his official social media account. During my meeting with the General Manager of Özşavlı TCDD (State Railways) Kamuran Yazıcı, he explained the information about the latest situation in the project design works of the high speed train project, which has an indisputable importance for the region.

The start of the 2nd Stage Şanlıurfa-Mardin-Diyarbakır studies before the high-speed train activities are over is contrary to the nature of the work. As of now, in Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa High Speed Railway line, which is 2 km in the 119nd Stage, drilling works have been completed, and 55% of the project works of the Şanlıurfa-Mardin High Speed Railway line, which is 181 km, have been completed in Şanlıurfa.
