SAMULAŞ General Manager Tamgacı: 'There are Mobile Security Personnel in the Vehicles'

Enver Sedat Tamgacı, General Manager of SAMULAŞ A.Ş., affiliated to Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, stated that they took necessary precautions and measures in all public transportation vehicles together with the pandemic and said that they had assigned mobile security personnel.

Stating that they have made a high level of effort to ensure safe and healthy transportation for citizens, in line with the relevant circulars and the decisions of the Provincial Sanitary Board, by increasing the measures to the highest level since the first day of the pandemic, SAMULAŞ A.Ş. General Manager Enver Sedat Tamgacı said, “In order to reduce the spread of the virus, we clean it with disinfectants and make it ready for the next time, after each time we complete all our vehicles. We do the same thing at the end of the day. We also put hand disinfectants at the entrances of our tram stations, which are common areas, and buses. ”

ADDITIONAL SERVICES ARE INSTALLED AT INTENSIVE HOURS

Stating that the security personnel and bus drivers at the stations are not allowed to travel without a mask, Tamgacı said, “Mask distribution and fever measurements of our passengers are made. Expedition intervals are planned to be more frequent in time zones with high passenger density, and the formation of density is minimized with additional flights when necessary. ”

Stating that they comply with the passenger capacity rule, General Manager Tamgacı said that when the bus density is in the scope of this rule, drivers contribute to maintaining social distance by not taking passengers.

“During the day, bus and tram supervisors and security personnel check inappropriate mask usage, social distance and seating arrangements, and we work to prevent virus spreading with warnings when necessary. We also have social distance alerts on the seats. In our trams, it is ensured that the social distance is maintained with our mobile security personnel and more frequent checks at some of the busiest stations. When our mobile security personnel detect that the density is occurring in the vehicle, they contact the control center and ensure that the necessary measures are taken at the next station. In order to prevent the density that may occur in the vehicles within the scope of these precautions, it is provided to travel more comfortably and socially with the station announcements.
