Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, which has made a great breakthrough in road construction works, continues its modern road and bridge works without slowing down. In this context, the construction of bridges started in Önsen Neighborhood. The modern bridge, which was built by the teams of the KMBB Directorate of Science, with the support of TOKİ, will be 22 meters platform wide, 209 meters long and will consist of six culverts. The length of the project, including the bridge, is 4 km. The Önsen Bridge, which will consist of 4 sections: auto railing, pedestrian railing, vehicle road and pedestrian road, will offer more comfortable and modern transportation services to citizens.
Mayor Güngör: “This bridge will reduce the 22-kilometer road to 10 kilometers.”
Making a statement on the subject, Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Hayrettin Güngör stated that they, as the metropolitan municipality, give priority to water and road works; “Our city has new development areas. Approximately 60 thousand nurses live in the Önsen region. Currently, the city center is 22 kilometers due to the dam. We are building this Önsen Bridge with the support of TOKI. This bridge will reduce the 22-kilometer road to 10 kilometers. This project will also increase the attractiveness of the Önsen region. ” said.
