Karabük Iron and Steel Factories (KARDEMİR) was entitled to receive the "TSE Kovid-19 Safe Production Certificate" issued by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE).
In the written statement made by KARDEMİR, “Our struggle against the coronavirus epidemic that affects the world and deeply affects both our economic and social life continues. In the new normalization process, our works continue without compromising our old measures.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have taken the warnings and rules of all relevant institutions, especially the Turkish Ministry of Health, and our local administrations seriously. In addition to our internal work, we continued our collaborations with the awareness of our responsibility towards our city. We have made decisions not only for the employees of our company, but also for the health of the people of Karabük.
We published our “Covid-83 Fighting Guide” in mid-April with the responsibility given by our 19 years of long history. We shared the rules that apply in our company with many companies and recommended that they be applied as a model in every field of production.
We continued our production without compromising our “Human Health First” philosophy. As a result of this philosophy, we were entitled to receive the "TSE Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate" issued by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE).
During the inspections made by TSE officials and during the field trips, it was decided that our company's production activities are in compliance with the epidemic process and it was registered with the document on 14/07/2020.
First of all, we congratulate all our units and employees who have contributed to the registration of the measures we have taken against the coronavirus epidemic and who follow the rules; We would like to thank the Turkish Standards Institute for the award.
With this registration, we hope that our company will set an example for the sector and other organizations. "Statements were included.
