Historic Cannon Bullets Removed From Çanakkale War

In Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park, the cannonball, estimated to have survived from the Dardanelles Wars, was destroyed.

In a statement made by the Gendarmerie General Command, it was reported that there is a cannonball in the Eceabat district, which is located within the borders of the national park, that is considered to have survived from the Çanakkale Wars.

In the statement, "Upon receipt of the notification, the relevant bullet was destroyed by intervention in accordance with the relevant law, by taking the necessary safety precautions by our explosive disposal experts." The statement said.
