The Chinese Civil Aviation Agency announced on Friday (July 17th) that it has allowed Japan Airlines, Lao Airlines and Hainan Airlines companies to increase their international flight numbers due to their effective measures on COVID-19.

As of June 4, a reward and suspension system was introduced by the Chinese Civil Aviation Department. Accordingly, Tokyo-Dalian JL829 / 0, Vientiane-Kunming V815 / 6, Beijing-Brussels HU491 / 2 and Beijing-Toronto HU7975 / 6 flights are the second party flights awarded within this framework.

The Civil Aviation Department stated that the number of round trip flights may increase from one week to two per week by 24 October.

On the other hand, Japan Airlines and Lao Airlines became the first two international airlines awarded.

In addition, Civil Aviation emphasized that the launch of some international passenger services with this method aims to provide the balance between the control of the pandemic and socioeconomic development.
