Rail Baltica project organizer, RB Rail, a subsidiary of Indra Protec and Obermeyer + Beratenconcluded the tender for design and construction control services for the 93,5 km section of the railway line between Pärnu and the Latvian border.
Total cost 10,8 MEURThe Consortium, which signed the contract, will be designed with eco-bridges to allow the animals to cross the line, which will be designed to operate up to 259 km / h. The project includes 1.435 passenger stations, 3 loading facility, 1 railway bridges, 9 road overpasses, 15 culverts and 148 eco-bridge overpasses.
27 Months Design and 60 Months Watch Time
The project, which includes geotechnical research and detailed technical design, will continue as a 60-month monitoring during the construction phase, including the approval of any changes in the original design.
Protec will implement the building information modeling methodology to manage the project and centralize all the information needed for construction in a highly detailed 3D digital model.
RB Rail will open tenders for the detailed technical design review and design expertise services for the Latvian section of the corridor.
