The structure of 60 caves in the Marmara, Black Sea and Central Anatolia regions and the status of their geological and ecological natural values ​​will be investigated this year by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

NEW SPIDER SPECIES RECORDED IN THE BONE CAVE

Within the scope of the project to be carried out in Eskişehir, Ankara, Trabzon, Giresun, Gümüşhane, Zonguldak, Bartın, Karabük, Düzce, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Edirne, Bursa and Balıkesir, good results were obtained from the first studies initiated.

In Kemikli Cave in Eskişehir, spider species that will be a new record for the Asian continent and geological formations such as very rare stalactites and stalagmites were identified.

The project will continue until the end of the year, and Turkey about the caves is aimed at obtaining crucial information to the world.
