Bursa Metropolitan Municipality continues its investments with the aim of uninterrupted transportation and relieving the traffic in the main arteries. Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that they wanted to ensure uninterrupted transportation with little touches in traffic.
The works carried out in the main arteries by the Metropolitan Municipality in order to relieve traffic in Bursa continue at full speed. In line with the goal of continuing uninterrupted transportation, the 'U' swing arm was opened at the Beşevler Junction. Examining the asphalt and tartar works with AK Party Nilüfer District President Eşref Kurem, the headmen of Çamlıca and Konak neighborhoods, Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş evaluated the other works to be done to relieve the traffic by getting information from the authorities.
“Small touches that ease traffic”
Stating that Nilüfer district is a rapidly developing district in recent years, Mayor Aktaş stated that the intensive gathering of Nilüfer Organized Industrial Zone, Bursa Organized Industrial Zone, private schools, business centers in the same region and density in terms of housing gradually increase the activity of the region. Stating that they have made serious improvements with some minor arrangements, while taking the main steps related to transportation, Mayor Aktaş said, “We examined the work we carried out on the 40-meter main road and 12-meter service roads in Nicosia Street, within the boundaries of the Nilüfer district, on a 64-meter wide road. Located between Beşevler and Odunluk neighborhoods, the street is developing rapidly in recent years. Kültür and Beşevler neighborhoods use the Beşevler intersection as the starting point. At the same time, this intersection is an alternative route to İzmir road at the entrance and exit of Küçük Sanayi Bölgesi. Due to the cross-section of the crossroad approach, Beşevler intersection was insufficient to discharge the traffic load during peak hours. For this reason, the Eğitimciler-Lefkoşa Street junction has been created in order to create an alternative in the direction of discharge in the Beşevler entrance junction. ”
“Uninterrupted transportation”
Explaining that Akçay Street was arranged as one direction in the north and south direction to form a link between Yıldırım Caddesi and Eğitimciler Caddesi, President Aktaş stated that the production of parquet, border, filling materials and asphalt has been completed. Expressing that the transportation investments continue uninterrupted, Mayor Aktaş said, “We want to relieve the city traffic with such smart urbanism applications. Our work at Beşevler immediately showed its effect. I wish it good luck. Our goal is to continue transportation without interruption. As long as our citizens also follow the rules and rules, I believe that we will experience the more trouble-free process together. ”
