Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, which works on all platforms for the Thinking, Producing Racing Army, has implemented another important project to integrate the city with the sea. Şehit Temel Şimşir, which was previously idle, was brought to Ordu tourism after the restoration work.

Underlining that Şehit Temel Şimşir will make important contributions to Ordu tourism, Metropolitan Mayor Dr.. Mehmet Hilmi Güler said, “Today I am having one of the happiest days. We have given our beautiful Army another good opportunity today. Martyr Temel Şimşir Ship, where we completed the restoration work as Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, will now serve our people on the sea. With this ship, we will now have the opportunity to watch the beauties of our Army, which we always watch from the sea, from the sea. In addition, our ship will be at the service of our townspeople by organizing flights between Altınordu, Thursday, Ünye, Fatsa and Gülyalı districts. I hope that this ship, which will make important contributions to tourism, will be beneficial to our city and districts. My Lord should not cause any trouble, ”he said.

The Martyr Temel Şimşir ship, which will make a great contribution to maritime tourism and make the sea popular with the citizens of Ordu, has venues to appeal to citizens such as a restaurant, cafeteria, wedding hall, children's playground, and live music area. While the meetings are also held on the ship with a capacity of 600 people, tours can also be organized.
