President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the exams at the Hagia Sophia Mosque, which will be opened for worship 86 years later, with the Friday prayer to be held tomorrow and opened the sign that reads “Hagia Sophia-i Sharif Mosque”.

President Erdoğan came to Istanbul and went to the Hagia Sophia Mosque after the High Military Council in Ankara.

Erdogan stayed for about an hour at the Hagia Sophia Mosque, where he studied four days ago.

Receiving information from the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and the opening of the Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya for his opening, his wife Emine Erdoğan, Vice President Fuat Oktay, Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Presidency SözcüSü İbrahim Kalın, AK Party SözcüSü Ömer Çelik and President of Religious Affairs Dr. Ali Erbaş accompanied him.

Erdogan and his friends came to the entrance of the Hagia Sophia Mosque and opened the sign saying “Ayasofya-i Kebir Cami-i Şerifi” and took a photo in front of the sign.

Erdogan left the Hagia Sophia Mosque after his investigations.
