Due to the joint renewal to be made on the Golden Horn Bridge, the areas to be closed to traffic during the road work on the bridge and the strips to be processed by the traffic were determined.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will make joint renovation on Golden Horn Bridge. Within the scope of the works to be carried out, some areas will be temporarily closed to traffic and new lanes have been determined in order to prevent traffic interruption. “Joint Renewal Temporary Traffic Circulation Project” IMM Infrastructure on the Golden Horn Bridge dated July 2, 2020 / 23-17. Services will be carried out within the Directorate.
WORKS WILL BE PERFORMED IN FOUR STAGES
According to the UTK decision, the work that can be done between 15 July 2020 and 30 August 2020 will be carried out by the Infrastructure Services Directorate between 18 July 2020 and 18 August 2020 in 4 stages. In the 1st stage, the right lane of the 2-lane road in the direction of Okmeydanı - Edirnekapı of the bridge will be closed for 7 days. In the second stage, the left lane of the same road will remain closed for 2 days. In the 7rd stage, the 3 lane on the right side of the 3-lane road in the direction of Edirnekapı - Okmeydanı will be closed for 1,5 days following the 2nd stage. In the 7th stage, the 4 lane on the left side of the same road will remain closed for 1,5 days.
