In the colloquium to be held on Saturday, the owners of the projects that will change the face of Istanbul will receive their awards from President Imamoglu.
The colloquium of the competitions conducted with the partnership of Istanbul Planning Agency (İPA) and İBB Park, Garden and Green Areas Department will take place on July 11 at 15:00 in Yenikapı Eurasia Show Center.
The projects of the contestants, who ranked in the Urban Furniture and Game-Recreation Products Design Competition and Haliç Coasts Design Competition, which was opened in January 2020 with the slogan “Istanbul is Yours - Let's Decide on Your Future Together”, will be evaluated in a colloquium by jury members and questions will be answered.
The projects were evaluated according to the 8 main themes of the Istanbul Strategic Plan: Accessible Istanbul, Environmental Awareness, Producing Istanbul, Sharing Istanbul, Financial Sustainability, Participatory and Innovative Management, Living Istanbul, Unique Heritage.
EKREM İMAMOĞLU IS ON THE JURY
Chairman of the advisory jury of two competitions where a total of 65 projects will be awarded. Ekrem İmamoğlu there is also. Other consultant jury members, İBB Park Garden and Green Areas Department Head Yasin Çağatay Seçkin, İBB Rail Systems Department Head Pelin Alpkökin, İPA Competitions Coordinator Ömer Yılmaz, İSTON A.Ş. General Manager of Ziya Gökmen Togay. The main juries of the two competitions are independent architects, designers and artists.
While the winner of the Istanbul Your City Furniture and Game-Recreation Design Competition will be awarded 80.000 TL, the winner of the Istanbul Your Golden Horn Coasts Design Competition will be awarded the 50.000 TL award.
