Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk announced that the Vocational Proficiency Exams, which were interrupted on 19 March due to the COVID-16 pandemic, have started again today.

Minister Selçuk said that efforts to determine the occupational standards needed by the working life and to establish a qualified and certified workforce are continuing.

Stating that they attach importance to qualified and documented workforce and within this scope, 19 organizations are authorized to certify in 326 sectors and 217 professions through VQA. said.

Minister Selçuk stated that the exams will be held within the framework of OHS and hygiene rules in line with the guidelines prepared by VQA. Regarding the exams to be held, Minister Selçuk said, “There will be no one other than candidates and candidates in the exam area. The examination center will be designed in accordance with the social distance due to the coronavirus. In addition, our exams will be monitored by camera recording and will be checked to see if measures are followed. ” shared his knowledge.

Selçuk also stated that within the scope of the Vocational Qualification Certificate obligation, which was put into effect in order to establish a safe work environment, to ensure productivity in production and registered employment, 226 of 143 professions have been put into practice as a necessity.
