as part of a project library to each shopping center of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, Turkey's first 3 held AVM library was inaugurated.

Speaking at the opening ceremony held at Nata Vega Outlet Shopping Center, Minister Ersoy expressed that they want to bring nearly 500 shopping centers together with the library. Minister Ersoy said that libraries have served as a bridge that has passed on from generation to generation, preserving information resources and cultural products for centuries.

Providing information about the ministry's services in the field of librarianship, Minister Ersoy said, “As the ministry, today we provide services to our citizens with 1186 public libraries. Our 53 mobile libraries equipped with modern tools and equipment serve our citizens who cannot benefit from these institutions. ” said.

Stating that they keep up with the technological developments, Minister Ersoy said: “We enable citizens to meet with the book by realizing many digital applications such as e-book and My Library Cepte. Such a project was developed by our General Directorate of Libraries and Publications to deliver the book to our citizens and young people, rather than to only the enthusiast reaching the book. Our goal is to bring nearly 500 shopping malls to libraries. This is also a very practical example for public-private cooperation. An example that we can get very fast results. We are making our libraries widespread, delivering libraries to every point where our citizens and young people are, and we also benefit from traffic in shopping malls. We started with libraries in the first place, and we will try to carry out cultural activities in shopping malls. ”
