Muammer Yıldız, General Manager of Private Education Institutions, announced that private schools will continue to distance education until June 19, and that they can make face-to-face compensatory training for less than 15 weeks after August 3. Private education courses will also be able to start the education from June 1, and private education and rehabilitation centers, starting from June 15, by taking the necessary precautions if parents wish.
Muammer Yıldız, General Manager of Private Education Institutions, stated that, in the context of the measures taken due to the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) outbreak, private schools operating under the Law of Private Education Institutions numbered 16, reminded that it was continued through education.
Yıldız underlined that private schools simultaneously provide distance education with their own opportunities and teachers while distance education is provided by EBA and EBA TV by public schools, and shared the following information: “Private schools measure the distance of their students by measuring the distance education they provide. make compensatory training in areas where face training is needed. Private primary, secondary and secondary education institutions will continue their education through distance education until the end date of 2019-2020 academic year. Face-to-face compensatory education can start in private schools after August 15, 2020, and it can be organized in August and September, with a total duration of at least three weeks. Private schools that will make compensatory education will inform the provincial / district national education directorates of the time and duration of the education and take precautions in their schools before and during the education. ”
Reminding that the trainings in special education and rehabilitation centers were interrupted between March 16 and May 31, Yıldız made the following evaluations: “With the implementation of the measures, positive results were achieved throughout the country and the normalization process continues as planned. Taking into consideration the opinions of the provincial pandemic board, the rules used in the institution buildings, educational equipment and transportation vehicles used for transportation of disabled people to the center, along with the measures regarding the use of mask, hygiene and protection of social distance, provided that the founders of the special education and rehabilitation centers and the parents of the disabled individuals request, the training will start in the centers as of 15 June 2020.
Yıldız also announced that private education courses can start education from today if the parents of the students take necessary precautions.
Yıldız said that it will be ensured that they comply with other rules along with precautions regarding the use of masks, hygiene and protection of social distance in private education courses and buildings of private education and rehabilitation centers, equipment used in education and the service vehicles that provide transportation of students, trainees and disabled people to the center. He stated that the necessary legal actions will be taken by the units in line with their legislation.
General Manager Yıldız added that articles related to private schools, private education courses, special education and rehabilitation centers were sent to the provinces.
