CEVA Logistics, which has implemented its three-stage growth plan in the African market, aims to be a leading market player operating on all continents thanks to this plan.

CEVA Logistics, which incorporates the Belgian-based company AMI Worldwide, which operates under the AMI and Manica brand, accelerates the expansion process in East and South Africa.

CEVA Logistics acquired the majority stake in AMI Worldwide, a third-party logistics solutions provider with an extensive service network in East and South Africa and over 100 years of expertise in this region.

AMI Worldwide, operating in 1 countries in East and South Africa, with its office network and approximately 12 employees, participates in the CEVA global network, effective from 1000 July. CEVA acts to provide a seamless network to its customers, to facilitate cargo movement within Africa and to strengthen its commercial connections with the rest of the world. The new offices in East and South Africa will serve as a platform for investments and growth activities in the continent.

CEVA Logistics launches new operations

Three CMA CGM Inland (Domestic) Service Facilities (CCIS) in Mali, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast join the CEVA network. These facilities, which provide intermodal (mixed) transportation services, will be the starting point for the company to achieve its freight management goals. In addition to providing all domestic solutions for container fleet management and value added ship freight services such as reefer management services, loading and unloading of containers, land port and container warehouse, these facilities will also provide freight forwarding services. In addition to being the parent company of CEVA, these facilities maintain close ties with the CMA CGM Group, one of the world leaders in the transportation and logistics industry, which has a strong presence in this region from the past.

Expanding its operations in Mauritania, where it operates directly with wide-ranging expertise in transit corridor operations, CEVA will strengthen its presence in Ethiopia by including this company in the CEVA network after the completion of all legal transactions, thanks to its new business partnership with MACFAA.

CEVA, which has greatly increased its capacity in Africa with these new strategic investments, is able to meet the demands of the rapidly growing retail and consumer goods markets and provide all logistics services; however, it offers its customers both a strong global network and best-in-class services and unmatched expertise.

CEVA Logistics, in total in Africa: 41 offices in 79 countries, 1,300 Employees will serve with a full range of 135,000 warehouses with a storage capacity of 19 square meters and a fleet of 1500 trucks.
