As of the end of May, Cengiz İnşaat has started field preparation and mobilization in the project, which we previously shared, signed the “Krizevci - Koprivnica - Modernization of the Hungarian Border Railway Line” contract with the Republic of Croatia Railway Administration (HZ Infrastrukta).

The project, which had to start on 23 April, was postponed by the administration due to Covid-19. According to the statement made by the administration, it may take up to 2 months for the construction works of the project, for which site preparation, mobilization and design works have started.

While it is estimated that there will be 400 employees in the peak period of the project, the work, which will be one of the largest infrastructure projects in Croatia, is planned to be completed in November 2023. With a contract price of 2,4 billion HRK (~ 318 million EUR), the project will be 42,6km in total.
