Taking the first step for the Dikimevi-Natoyolu Light Rail System Line (HRS) Project, the Metropolitan Municipality received the prequalification proposals of 10 companies participating in the tender on Thursday, June 4.

The Dikimevi-Natoyolu line, which will be connected to the Ankara Intercity Terminal Enterprise (AŞTİ) and the ANKARAY line operating between Dikimevi, will be 7,4 kilometers long and will consist of 8 separate stations.

Stating that domestic and foreign companies showed great interest in the tender, Serdar Yeşilyurt, Head of Transportation Investments, gave the following information:

“As a result of the work of the EGO General Directorate, we are expanding the metro network. Başkent residents will be able to reach AŞTİ more easily. 4 companies participated in the tender held on June 10. Among these companies, 6 companies with the highest technical and financial efficiency will be identified. We will invite you to the new tender to be held after the evaluation. The winner of the tender will prepare the project and other tender documents for the construction and we will proceed to the construction tender stage after 8 months. This project will be the continuation of the ANKARAY Light Rail System line. The line will start at the Sewing House and will be 7,4 kilometers to the Natoyolu. Within the scope of this work, one more station will be added to Söğütözü after AŞTİ. This new line of 1 kilometers will be put into operation. ”
