Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality has launched smart stops at 2 points in order to provide comfortable service to Balıkesir people in public transportation. Thanks to the intelligent modular stops with cameras, glazing, heating and cooling systems with internet service, citizens will not get cold in winter while waiting for a public transportation vehicle and will not be overwhelmed in summer.
Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, which continues to make radical changes in order to minimize problems in public transportation; Dr. Ahmet Toprak Caddesi placed smart modular stops on the Camel Guild. The 18-meter-long stalls are specially designed with 6 meters of them open and the rest of them closed. TOKİ Yeni Mahalle 2nd Stage; Air-conditioned smart modular bus stations with 2 6 meters long closed sections were installed and offered to the citizens.

The stops, designed in a modern way for the passenger service to be useful and comfortable in public transportation, offer comfort according to the hot and cold climate. Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality will continue to place smart stops in different parts of the city in the coming days.
