For 2020 production period, TMO's hard bread wheat purchase price was increased from 1350 lira to 1650 lira per ton, Barley purchase price was increased from 1100 lira to 1275 lira per ton. In addition, it was decided to pay 230 pounds per ton of premium and support to our farmers in cereals.
Pulse purchase prices per ton were determined as 3500 liras in red lentils, 3200 liras in green lentils and 3350 liras in chickpeas. Premium and support payments in pulses were announced as 800 lira per ton.
We continue to work for our country, our farmers, on a vital issue such as agriculture and animal husbandry. While many countries have difficulties in accessing food in the pandemic process, we continue to contribute to the country's economy while we demonstrate that we are self-sufficient once again with our manufacturer, which we provide shoulder to shoulder.
