The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), gave the Gebze-Köseköy railway infrastructure tenders bedelll 144 million to two companies. However, the company that received the tender could not finish the work that had to be completed in 190 days, it received an extension of 405 days. Despite this period, however, approximately 30 million jobs could not be completed again.
According to the news of Seyhan Avşar from CumhuriyetTCDD's tender for Gebze-Köseköy Railway 3rd and 4th Line Platform Construction, Infrastructure, Superstructure and Electrification Construction Work with Uğursal Elektrik Elektronik İnşaat Malzemeleri Stationary Medical Furniture White Goods Industry and Trade Inc. on 24 July 2018. Abu Yapi Taah. Const. Inc. was given to the joint venture. It was learned that the two companies that received the tender belonged to the same name and that this person was from Rize.
Progress payment number 31 was issued to the company that received the tender on 2019 July 8. Due to this, the payment of many manufacturing which was not made was entitled. Allegedly, some control engineers did not want to sign this progress report at that time. However, pressure was put on them. According to the progress payment report, the work in question had to be completed in 190 days. However, the company that received the tender received an extension of 405. However, on 31 July 2019, some of the paid work was never started, or a few were started a few months ago. Works started could not be completed. It was learned that the cost of unfinished works is about 30 million liras. TCDD officials, whom we talked about in progress payment, did not respond to our question about why the tender was not completed, and stated that they could not provide information because they were civil servants. Although we called the company officials who received the tender, no return was made to us.
