Following the Çorlu train massacre hearing, the deputy of CHP, Mahmut Tanal, reacted to the writing of the phrase "Audience" on the seats in the hall where the painful families were present. "This is not a theater, but a courtroom," said Tanal.

In July 2018, the 25th hearing of the case related to the train accident in Çorlu, where 328 people died and 5 people were injured, started to be held in Çorlu Public Education Center Hall.

“THIS IS NOT THE THEATER HALL, THE COURT HALL”

Following the hearing, CHP Istanbul Deputy Att. Mahmut Tanal criticized the writing of the phrase "Audience seat" to indicate the seats of the hall where the painful families and accident victims were present.

Tanal, who shared the photos he took from the hall on his social media account, said, “There was a massacre in Çorlu, not an accident. It is not correct to write the phrase 'Audience' instead of the words 'Audience' in the courtroom where the hearing regarding the train disaster is observed. This is not a theater, but a courtroom. The appearance of the courtroom is important. The impression it will create in the public is important. ”

"THE MINISTRY AND THE GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF TCDD CANNOT BE TOUCHED TO THE OFFICE OF THE OFFICE ..."

Mahmut Tanal, of CHP, pointed out that the principal officials were not brought before the judiciary in another post, saying, “The most reliable means of transportation became accidents during the AKP period. Accidents happened one after the other. We lost dozens of our citizens. The fact that the bureaucrats of the Ministry and TCDD General Directorate could not be touched in administrative and judicial proceedings has not escaped our attention ”.
