Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues to support healthcare professionals and pharmacists, who are at the forefront of combating the coronavirus epidemic. All elements of public transportation will be free to healthcare professionals, pharmacists and pharmacy workers for three more months.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has implemented many measures to protect public health within the scope of combating the coronavirus epidemic that affects the whole world. One of them was to provide free public transportation services to healthcare workers, pharmacists and pharmacy workers, and also to create special services for healthcare professionals only. The public transportation service, which has been given to the health workers, pharmacists and pharmacy workers who took the biggest responsibility in the process of preventing the spread of the virus and treating patients, has been extended for three more months since 19 March.

Shuttle buses that make reciprocal flights in the morning / evening on the seven routes specially planned by the ESHOT General Directorate will continue to serve on weekdays and on the days of curfew.

Facility rental is over

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality rented two hotels and a dormitory at the beginning of April in order to benefit the health personnel who could not go to their homes in order not to risk their families, and allocated a facility owned by Ornekköy to healthcare workers.
