Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan stated that they will start the virtual fairs organized for the realization of new fairs of coronavirus (Kovid-19) with the shoe and leather fair "Shoedexpo" on June 1-3, "Agrivirtual-Virtual" on June 22-26. He said that they will hold the “Agricultural Machinery Fair” with the contribution of domestic and national software.

The Ministry of Commerce takes the fairs postponed or canceled during the epidemic to the virtual environment. In this context, the virtual fair organization, which will start with the shoe and leather fair "Shoedexpo" on June 1-3, will continue with the "Agrivirtual-Virtual Agricultural Machinery Fair" held on 22-26 June with the contributions of domestic and national software.

Minister Pekcan, in his statement, said that the movement and contact opportunities of the business world were restricted on a global scale due to the epidemic affecting the whole world, and trade fairs were postponed or canceled.

Expressing that digital marketing methods and virtual trading platforms have become more important in this process, Pekcan stated that they started their virtual fair works after the organizations of the trade delegations, which they continued to successfully carry out in coordination with the exporters' associations, without excluding these developments.

Pekcan stated that the promotion of participating companies and their products through virtual fairs will be carried to the digital platform on a 7/24 basis with the aim of promoting trade, such as online seminars and bilateral talks between these companies and buyers.

“We will start our virtual fairs on 1-3 June with the shoe and leather fair 'Shoedexpo'. In order to introduce virtual trade fairs, one of the digital marketing methods, to our companies and to ensure that our companies take place on these platforms before their global competitors, we will bring together 30 professional buyers with our 250 participating companies at this fair. Our companies will bring their collections prepared for the autumn-winter season to the world on the digital platform and will carry out online bilateral business meetings with global buyers on the web. ”

Pekcan stated that the "Agrivirtual-Virtual Agricultural Machinery Fair" will be held on June 22-26, in cooperation with the Ministry, the organization of the Central Anatolian Exporters' Associations and the cooperation of Selçuk University.

“This fair, which is prepared with the contribution of domestic and national software, will allow visitors to visit the fair area in 3D, and will allow companies to have video messages with their visitors via instant messaging. In addition, we will bring together over 4 agricultural machinery exporters with more than 100 global buyers at the fair where translation services will be provided in 300 languages. ”
