Metropolitan Municipality continues to work on improvement and development in the ports located strategically throughout the province. In this context, Ordu Metropolitan Municipality is preparing to launch the Ünye Port Project, which will enable the development of Ünye Port and become an effective and strategic container port among countries in the Black Sea.
President Güler, who received information from the authorities by making inspections at Ünye Port, which will be the exit gate of the Black Sea Mediterranean Road, said, “The project to be realized here has now been tendered and the work is about to be completed. We will now focus on the issue of construction work in the next section. ”
Saying that Ünye Port is one of the most important loading centers in the region, Ordu Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler said, “Ünye Port is one of the most important loading centers in the region. Our officials have evaluated how we can further increase the capacity of our port, how we can load the ships more, and how we can benefit more from import and export. As a result of our inferences, we are considering taking different investments or measures. For this, we came to decide by making on-site examinations. The tender for the project, which will be carried out here, has now been tendered and the work is about to end. Now we will focus on the subject of construction work in the next section. ”
