Turkey is the world's most exclusive tourism and the Blue Flag environmental award in this year has maintained the top spot.
Followed by Spain and Greece, the country with the world's 3rd most blue flag award winning beaches in Turkey this year was the number 486.
As a result of the 2020 evaluations of the Blue Flag awards given by the International Environmental Education Foundation (FEE), which is the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, the number of award-winning beaches, which was 463 last year, reached 486. If Turkey 22 marinas and yacht 7 was awarded the Blue Flag award this year.
This year Blue Bayraklı beach numbers to 206 in Antalya, 105 in Muğla, 35 in Aydın, 52 in İzmir, 31 in Balıkesir, 2 in Istanbul, 13 in Samsun rose to. Last year's figures were preserved in Çanakkale, Kırklareli, Kocaeli, Düzce, Ordu, Mersin and Van.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism targets the world championship among the 2023 FEE member countries that implement the international Blue Flag in 50 on the number of beaches.
