35mm Particle Ammunition
Developed by ASELSAN with the support of TÜBİTAK SAGE and MKE, KORKUT and Fire Management Device (AIC) and 35mm Particle Ammunition, the main target set of which is air-to-ground missiles; It has been adapted to this area by evaluating that armored vehicles will increase the striking efficiency. In the KORHAN 35mm Weapon System, which is under development by ASELSAN, using this ammunition will give the weapon system an important hit. The ammunition in question was developed specifically to provide effectiveness to infantry targets, light armored vehicles and critical sensors located on heavy armored vehicles.
The number and array of particles in the ammunition have been updated to increase the particle density on the target, and the effective range of the ammunition to the target set has been increased. This ammunition can be discarded unprogrammed if necessary and can provide superior penetration performance against armored vehicles, buildings and bunkers.
This developed ammunition uses the same hardware and software as the 35 mm Particle Ammunition for fire control. In this way, it was possible to use this ammunition in KORKUT and AIC + MÇT systems, as well as the use of 35mm Particle Ammunition developed for air defense purposes in systems such as KORHAN.
40mm High Speed Smart Grenade Launcher Ammunition
ASELSAN has developed 35mm High Speed Smart Grenade Launcher Ammunition using its experience in developing 40mm Particle Ammunition. The ammunition in question has the ability to paralyze in the air when it is programmed at the exit of the barrel and can be successfully used against mini UAVs if it is integrated both in the targets behind the dairy and the IHTAR system. The ammunition that can be thrown from the MK19 gun installed in remote command weapons systems can be used as anti-personnel effective ammunition in vehicles with SARP system installed.
120mm Intelligent Tank Ammunition
The work carried out by ASELSAN in the field of smart ammunition with medium caliber intensity was expanded and smart ammunition studies were started for tank and howitzer ammunition. In this context, there are also studies to give reason to 120mm HE type tank ammunition. Developed by integrating smart plug into the classic 120mm HE ammunition, the 120 mm Smart Tank Ammunition (120 mm ATM) will have electronic time adjustment and electronic impact.
With the 120mm ATM, it is aimed to eliminate the protected / unprotected threats hidden in anti-tank positions / waiting in ambush by providing money. 120mm ATM will be an extremely effective solution for the destruction of critical subsystems (eg periscopes) on the mechanized vehicles in enemy elements and it will be ensured that these elements are not able to serve with high probability from long distances.
Finned plug for 155mm caliber ammunition
User elements are heavily demanded in terms of operational effectiveness by adjusting the flight path of the artillery ammunition and gaining the precision hit ability of these ammunition. ASELSAN's activities for this have started with the development of a finned plug, which includes multi-purpose plug features that will serve with 155mm caliber ammunition, and it is aimed to expand the study to different caliber.
