Pedestrian overpasses are of great importance for the safe transportation of citizens, especially in urban life. Elderly and disabled citizens generally use the elevators in the overpasses.
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Parks and Gardens Department teams provide hygiene by cleaning the elevators located in the overpasses on the D-100 Highway of the Izmit district, as often throughout the year, during the period of the coronavirus epidemic. With the work done, the health of citizens is protected.
36 ELEVATORS ARE CLEANED FREQUENTLY
There are 100 elevators in 15 pedestrian overpasses located on Izmit D-36. Citizens who come down from public transportation on the D-100 route use the elevators especially located on pedestrian overpasses. As in previous years, elevators are often cleaned with special medicines in order to prevent virus outbreak. As it is known, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which has gained the satisfaction of citizens with the work carried out, has been carrying out disinfection applications in parks, gardens, pharmacies, public institutions, workplaces and many other places since the beginning of the virus epidemic.
