IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlumade examinations on the Yenidogan-Cumhuriyet-Emek Metro Line, which has been under construction for approximately 2,5 years and is not included in the investment plan. Criticizing the way the line was built, İmamoğlu said, “It is a line added later, within the line designed from Çekmeköy to Kurtköy. It is a part of the whole that is not included in the investment plan. It started very wrong at that time. Wells were dug at the bottom of the buildings in a kind of neighborhood. These wells also make the locals nervous. We will find a solution,” he said.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) President Ekrem İmamoğlumade investigations on the Yenidogan-Cumhuriyet-Emek Metro Line, which was designed by the previous administration as a branch of the Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli Metro Line, but was discontinued as of the end of 2017. Imamoglu, who received information about the construction sites from Pelin Alpkökin, Head of IMM Rail System Department, was not satisfied with the sights he saw. Unfortunately, it is a fishbone line that has not been in the investment plan, has stopped since the end of 2017, has stood for 2,5 years, and stopped when we arrived 10 months ago, and the design is a problematic fishbone line. A line that was added later in the line designed from the whole of this line, from Çekmeköy to Kurtköy. It is a section that is not included in the investment plan. It was started very wrongly at that time. In a kind of neighborhood, wells were drilled at the bottom of the buildings. These wells also disturb the neighborhood. There are expectations. I wanted to see him on the spot. Because my friends have a form of anxiety. We discuss its future. A troubled recipe has been made here, both in terms of the number of passengers and the feasibility of the work. We will examine it in full. We will talk to the citizen, we will discuss this business with the district, we will discuss it with the political components of this place, we will talk to the local mayors.
