Asphalt Campaign Continues in Ankara

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues 7/24 asphalt work in the curfew announced as part of combating the coronavirus outbreak. The Department of Science Affairs, which carried out 16 tons of asphalt pouring between May 19-23, brought together a total of 302 tons of asphalt to the capital roads only on the days when the curfew was applied. The teams finally completed the asphalt paving process in front of AŞTİ.

With the opening of the asphalt season, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has accelerated the asphalt paving and renovation works in many parts of the Capital.

Within the scope of combating the coronavirus epidemic, the Department of Science Affairs teams that increased the work on the curfew announced on the weekends; He carried out asphalt work in many points of the city from Altındağ to Çankaya, from Etimesgut to Yenimahalle.

77 THOUSAND 18 TON ASPHALT IN THE LAW ON THE STREET FROM APRIL TO TODAY

On the days when the curfew was declared, the works of the Department of Science Affairs, which continued to work at more than one point due to the empty streets, completed the 16 tons of asphalt paving at 19 addresses and 6 tons of asphalt patching at 16 addresses.

7/24 teams; While bringing 4 thousand 69 tons of asphalt to the capital roads in 23 points in 392 days, it has made a total of 77 thousand 18 tons of asphalt pavement since April, when only the curfew has been applied.

AŞTİ'S ASPHALT SOLUTION HAS ENDED

After the asphalt patching and laying processes, 20 districts from Akyurt to Yenimahalle, Bala to Mamak, Etimesgut to Elmadağ gained a new look with renewed roads.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which has included AŞTİ, where very few intercity buses stop by, as part of the coronavirus epidemic measures, has also completed asphalt renewal work that has not been done for a long time due to the arrival and exit of hundreds of buses daily. The roads in front of AŞTİ were renewed with a thousand 46 tons of asphalt.

Metropolitan Municipality has also accelerated the asphalt paving works in the industrial areas of Başkent. The Science Affairs Department teams laid 7 thousand 870 tons of asphalt on Abdülhalik Renda Street in OSTİM District and 4 thousand 660 tons of asphalt on Abdülkadir Geylani Street.
