FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. General Manager and CEO Nail Kurt shared new information about the Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicle - ZAHA project, which is being used on the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship TCG ANADOLU on the We Visionary platform.

ZAHA is a vehicle capable of taking the fastest distance between the ship and the coast during an amphibious landing operation. During the landing phase of the operation, it can sail from the landing docks that dock to the shore, and it provides the troops to land as soon as possible under protection and with the support of fire by increasing the distance between them.

Nail Kurt stated that they used the knowledge of maritime in ZAHA project and they worked with academics working in ITU Naval Civil Engineering. Kurt stated that the only counterpart of ZAHA, which was specially designed for the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship, is the USA's AAV7 platform, underlining that AAV7 is also the product of BAE Systems, which are their business partnerships.
