Who is Birkan Erdal?

Birkan Erdal (1952, Ankara), Turkish bureaucrat and politician.

He graduated from Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Electronic Engineering. He completed his Master in Business Administration at Ankara Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences. Turkey Electricity Authority, TESTAS and Export Development Studies Center of Engineering and Management, State Railways General Manager and Chairman of the Board, Turkey Electricity Authority General Manager and Chairman of the Board, the Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Dogan Group of Companies Holding Inc. Board Member, Parliament XXI. He was the Deputy of Ankara for the period and the Chairman of the Commission on Public Economic Enterprises. He is married and has a child. Okan University is a member of the Board of Trustees.
