While Alanya Municipality is continuing its fight against the COVID-19 outbreak in all areas, taxi and taxi stations serving throughout Alanya were disinfected by the teams of the Directorate of Environmental Protection and Control.
Alanya Municipality continues its efforts to fight against COVID-19 (New Type Coronavirus) throughout the district without interruption. Within the scope of the studies, taxi and taxi stations operating in Alanya were disinfected. In the works carried out in accordance with the instructions of Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, 883 taxis and 55 stops were processed.
HYGIENE PACKAGE IS DISTRIBUTED TO EVERY STOP
Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel started the first disinfection process in Otogar Taxi in the morning. Mayor Yücel, who also visited the drivers at the taxi station, evaluated the current agenda and consulted with the President of the Chamber of Drivers, Recep Çalış. Mayor Yücel presented the Hygiene Package prepared by the Municipality of Alanya to the station responsible for the general cleaning of the stops.

Stating that the disinfection team of 18 people established under the Directorate of Environmental Protection and Control of Alanya Municipality, is carrying out disinfection work at designated points regardless of the concept of overtime, “Our teams work by adding the night to the day in order to protect the trust environment provided in Alanya”.

The President of the Chamber of Drivers Recep Çalış thanked President Yücel for his visit and support and expressed that the taxis will be disinfected with weekly planning and that municipal teams are pleased on behalf of their tradesmen for this support.
