Samsun Metropolitan Municipality will provide fuel support to Private Public Buses, which receive 50 percent of their capacity due to coronavirus.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality has taken action for Private Public Buses, which started to carry half the passengers of their capacity with the circular issued by the Ministry of Interior in the scope of combating the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) epidemic. It was decided to provide fuel support to Private Public Buses, whose revenues decreased due to the decrease in passenger capacities and the curfews of young people aged 65 and over and under 20.

In this context, Metropolitan Municipality will provide fuel support for 106 buses that provide public transportation in the city. Expressing that they are trying to overcome the difficult process by the tradesmen with the least amount of damage, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “We will provide fuel support for our public buses that provide public transportation services without interruption or by renting a line. We will survive these days in unity. ”
