On the Mother's Day and Eid al-Fitr, the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services asked that no visitors will be admitted to the nursing homes and no flowers or gifts should be sent due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

As the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, we apply strict measures to protect the health of our elderly and disabled in the COVID-19 epidemic, in nursing homes, elderly care and rehabilitation centers and care centers where the disabled stay.

There is a ban on visiting our establishments, and the entrance and exit of our staff is carried out by conducting the necessary health screenings. Therefore, due to the Mother's Day, which will be celebrated on Sunday, May 10, and the Ramadan Feast, which will be celebrated on May 23-24-25, visits to retirement homes and disabled care centers will not be accepted. Any product entry poses a risk due to the possibility of carrying viruses to organizations, so gifts and flowers should not be sent to our organizations.

We believe that our elders' relatives and their families and the rules will be given due diligence, and we believe that our nation will support the process by video calling our elderly and relatives staying in our organizations.

As stated by Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk; “Our nursing homes are closed for this holiday, physical visits; will be open to digital visits… ”
