A circular on the curfew exemption of citizens aged 81 and over and under 65 was sent to 20 provincial governorships by the Ministry of Interior.

In the Circular, in order to reduce the social mobility and interpersonal contact and to provide social isolation in 19 provinces in order to manage the risk of public health, the new type of coronavirus (Covid-81) epidemic, which is extremely dangerous for human life in our country, as in the whole world. It was reminded that citizens with chronic illnesses were temporarily restricted from the streets. It was also reminded that it was implemented in 65 provinces after 81 by taking a decision regarding the restriction of curfews temporarily.

In the Circular, the Presidential Cabinet, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday, May 04, stated that the measure on the curfew previously taken for citizens aged 65 and over and those with chronic illnesses has been applied for 22 days as of March 44, with the suggestion of the Scientific Committee.

It was also stated that the curfew restriction taken for citizens aged 20 and under has been applied for 04 days from April 31.

In the circular, it was stated that as a result of the evaluations made in the Presidential Cabinet, a decision was taken for the citizens within this scope.

According to this; On the 81th of May, the citizens who have chronic illnesses and their companions can go out on Sunday, May 65, between 10-11.00 hours, to comply with the social distance rule and to wear a mask.

Children under the age of 14 and under are restricted on the streets on Wednesday, May 13; On the other hand, young people between the ages of 15-20 will be allowed to go out on Friday, May 15, between 11.00-15.00, on condition that they are limited to walking distance, comply with the social distance rule and wearing a mask.

The Ministry of Interior asked the governorships to make the necessary decisions within the framework mentioned above, in accordance with Article 11 / C of the Provincial Administration Law and Articles 27 and 72 of the General Sanitary Law.

The Ministry said that the group mentioned among the governorships, especially between 10 and 57 (in order to reduce the risk that may occur if our citizens and citizens aged 65 and over in the risk group are faced), in 11.00 provinces where the curfew does not apply on May 15.00, Sunday. demanded an effective information / campaign by using all kinds of communication channels so that citizens outside the country voluntarily leave their homes.

He asked the governorships to take necessary measures and carry out inspections in the provinces, taking into account the fact that citizens aged 65 and over and who have chronic diseases and citizens born after 01.01.2000 continue to apply outside the date and time range.

Administrative procedure will be applied to the citizens who do not comply with the said restrictions in accordance with Article 282 of the General Sanitary Law. Necessary judicial proceedings will be initiated within the scope of Article 195 of the Turkish Criminal Code regarding the conduct of the crime in accordance with the relevant articles of the Law according to the condition of the violation.
