In his statement, Minister Selçuk stated that they provided monthly monthly cash aid to those in need of psychosocial and financial loss due to “subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE)”, a brain disease caused by tuberculosis and measles microbe with a social assistance program for severe chronic patients.

With this program, Selcuk said that support was provided to patients with tuberculosis for 6 months to 2 years, taking into account the condition of their treatment and the condition of their illness, and continued to support SSPE patients throughout their treatment processes.

Selçuk noted that, within the scope of the “electricity consumption support” initiated for households receiving regular social assistance with the President's decision published in February 2019, the needs of the dependent dependents for their electricity bills and uninterrupted power supply were met.

Selçuk informed that the electricity bills of the houses where the patients with device are connected with the aid program are supported up to 200 liras per month considering the energy consumption level of the device, and that the households are provided with uninterrupted power supply and the accumulated electricity debt after the date of connecting to the device is paid provided that the first month of the aid begins. told.

The Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services Selçuk shared the following information regarding the point of application regarding the support of the electricity bills and the regular cash aid program for those with severe chronic diseases: “Within the scope of our chronic disease aid program, we regularly provide 6 citizens who have tuberculosis or SSPE we provide cash aid. We also provided support for the electricity bill prices of our 564 thousand 2 citizens who are dependent on the device due to their chronic conditions. In addition to these supports we provide to our citizens with chronic illnesses, our Ministry also receives electricity consumption up to 135 kilowatt-hours per month for our families who benefit from regular social benefits. We support between 150 and 53 pounds according to the number of people in the household. 106 million 1 thousand 528 households have benefited from the electricity consumption support so far. ”
