The said notice was examined by the General Directorate of Customs Enforcement and the information obtained was conveyed to the Izmir Customs Enforcement Smuggling and Intelligence Directorate. In the research carried out by the Directorate of Customs Enforcement, Smuggling and Intelligence, action was taken for the operation after the addresses of suspicious activities were determined. In the search made at two addresses determined by the Customs Enforcement teams, 1 thousand 15 liters of ethyl alcohol with a market value of approximately 117 million lira, which were made illegally and ready to be put on the market, and 5 liter canisters and counterfeit labels used in the packaging of this product were seized.

On the other hand, in the second operation carried out at the Hamzabeyli Customs Gate, a Turkish plate minibus arriving at the customs gate to go abroad was seen as risky as a result of the risk analysis conducted by the Customs Enforcement teams and sent to the x-ray scanning device. While seizing medical protective products seized in both incidents, an investigation was launched into those responsible.
