Van Metropolitan Municipality disinfected minibuses and commercial taxis that provide public transportation services in the city within the scope of combating coronavirus.
The fight against the global epidemic coronavirus continues in Van. After the epidemic, the buses, private public buses, minibuses and commercial taxis of the Metropolitan Municipality, which provide public transportation services throughout the city, are regularly disinfected. In this context, the teams affiliated to the Health Affairs Department disinfected the public transportation vehicles that came to the disinfection point created in Atatürk Culture Park. Along with the disinfectant works, the teams also informed the vehicle drivers about hygiene against the virus.
Emin Tuğrul, President of the Chamber of Drivers and Automobiles, who watched the work done by Van Metropolitan Municipality, thanked the Governor of Van and Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Mehmet Emin Bilmez for their contributions.
Touching on the importance of disinfecting work done in public transportation, Tuğrul said that the work carried out was also highly appreciated in the tradesmen of the driver.
Tuğrul said, “At this point, we witnessed a very serious work in our city from the very first moment. Our public transportation vehicles carrying thousands of citizens a day are also disinfected regularly. The minibus driver Ayhan Akbulut, who stated that the spraying works on their vehicles were done meticulously, said, “The disinfection of our vehicles makes us feel comfortable.
