Batman Municipality provides service to citizens and drivers with its 30 'Illuminated and Non-Illuminated Intersection' applications, which are installed at the busiest points to ease the traffic flow in the city.
As a result of the studies carried out throughout the city by the Directorate of Transportation Services of Batman Municipality, a total of 16 intersections, 14 of which are illuminated and 30 of which are intelligent intersections, are being carried out for the smooth flow of transportation.
Batman Municipality aims to make traffic faster and safer with lighted and unlit junctions. Traffic data obtained through smart sensors installed at the intersections with the 'Illuminated and Non-Illuminated Intersection' system will be used instantly by the signaling system and will contribute to the direction of the traffic.
In order to ensure a smooth flow in vehicle and pedestrian traffic, Batman Municipality Transportation Services Directorate teams, which renewed the traffic signs at many points of the city, gave priority to the traffic signs that determine the parking spots reserved for the front of the school, pedestrian crossings and disabled citizens, as well as the signage of the parking spots. .
